Note: the Starter pack's GZDoom did not function for me but the GZDoom I already had works fine though. Same here, I really got the V20b starter pack for the included mappack & to check out the corpse dismemberment system & I too prefer Project Brutality so I wait for PB to incorporate the enhancements When Project Brutality incorporates that, I'll be pleased. Hudfreegamer: When I first tried Brutal Doom, I loved it. However, Brutal Doom v 20b has a new corpse dismemberment system which is fun and really feels nice when you throw a grenade or shoot an exploding barrel and the corpses are destroyed along with standing enemies. I recommend Project Brutality over Brutal Doom. Doom II + Maps of Chaos + Brutal Doom + Brutal Doom 3D Weapons + HD Textures Lite. There's more action, more violence, the enemies feel a bit weaker but there's more of them to kill and there's more gore, the sounds feel exactly right, there are additional mods that add little enhancements to the gameplay like a flashlight, a slide kick (which I enjoy), and the visuals seem better. I thought playing with the 2nd option (Brutal Doom) meant that it would play just like Brutal Doom. Turns out before I was playing Project Brutality. Suddenly I didn't like it any more and I couldn't figure out why. When I first tried Brutal Doom, I loved it.
